Acceptable Use Policy / Politique d’utilisation acceptable
AUP informs users of acceptable computer use.

access counter / compteur de visites
A program that counts the number of users to visit a web page. As per Common Look and Feel (CLF) Standard 6.7, counters must not be used to gather website usage data.

accessibility / accessibilité
Within the context of CLF, accessibility means equitable access to all content on Government of Canada (GoC) websites. For practical purposes, accessibility refers to the extent to which GoC web content can be obtained and effectively used by the widest possible audience, particularly those with disabilities (generally, persons with sight, hearing and motor impairments) regardless of technology.
