Saturday 22 October 2005:
7.00-9.00pm Panel Discussion:
Artist-Run: An Exhausted Mode?
This first session will look at the validity of the term 'artist-run'. Does
this model for self-representation still have currency, and if so do
initiatives that claim this status this operate in a significantly different
way to other arts organisations? Are 'artist-run' initiatives able to effect
institutional critique? Is the term just branding? Are there genuine
to being artist-run?
